The Junior Service League of Concord is a volunteer-led nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting women and children in crisis across New Hampshire.
Founded in 1931, JSL brings together women committed to service, leadership, and community impact. Through hands-on volunteer work, strategic grantmaking, and strong partnerships with local organizations, we work to address immediate needs while strengthening the communities we serve.

Our Story
The Junior Service League of Concord was founded in 1931 by women who believed in the power of collective service to meet unmet community needs. What began as a small group dedicated to helping others has grown into a longstanding organization committed to supporting women and children in crisis.
For 95 years, JSL has adapted to the evolving needs of the community while remaining rooted in its founding purpose. Through decades of service, partnership, and leadership development, the League has remained focused on thoughtful, hands-on support and responsible stewardship.
Today, JSL continues this legacy by investing in local organizations, mobilizing volunteers, and fostering a community of women dedicated to service. Our story is one of continuity, compassion, and a shared commitment to making a difference.
